Our knowledge, experience and equipment allow us to cope with all requirement.
We can accept CAD drawings that are fed directly into the manufacturing system which will reduce lead times for customers.
Operating with a 6kW fibre laser and 2 plasma cutting machines we can deal with a very wide range of material types and thicknesses.
With a tolerance accuracy of 0.03mm, our laser cutting machine is capable of accommodating large plates, 4m x 2m at 20mm thick for a wide range of materials including:
- Mild steel (up to 25mm)
- Stainless steel (up to 20mm)
- Aluminium (up to 12mm)
- Other non/ferrous materials
- Plastics/acrylics/wood etc
To complement our laser cutting service we also provide in-house plasma cutting allowing us to cut 8m x 3m sheets of mild steel up to 160mm thick.
To respond quickly to our customers’ needs we carry a small stock of mild and stainless steel including:
- BS EN10025 S275JR (43A)
- BS EN10025 S355JR (50B)
- BS 970 080 A40 (EN8)
- Wear-resistant materials – Hardox and Abbro 400
- Stainless steel 304 and 316 grades
- All materials are supplied with fully traceable Test Certificates.
