Sugar Dryer for Indonesia

Goodman Metal Works have manufactured a sugar dryer for the largest sugar producer in Indonesia.

The dryer has louvres to allow steam to pass through the dryer to heat the internal lifters and in turn dry the sugar.

This fabrication is a blend of mild steel roller paths and the drum with food quality stainless internally to enable the dryer to be priced competitively.

The project was a challenge due to the size and working out how to fit all the louvres without distorting the drum.
